His fears about the evils of my rising hypothesis did not materialize. For the first two days, the body was stressed by the sudden loss of normal food from its life. And realizing that this had been a long time, but not forever, he became silent and indifferent.
Charms and disappointments
As has happened in every experiment on myself, I have amassed a list of charms and disappointments. Or rather, discomfort and pleasure in the diet.
Difficulty # 1
The diet is strict. Because, according to its authors, it is designed to alter metabolism. Therefore, the slightest deviation from the course (even croutons, even apples) - and the expected effect is not guaranteed. And here's what to expect: parting with 5 - 8 kilograms and weight stabilization in the future.
Difficulty # 2
Very difficult to come business lunch and flirtatious asked me, two boiled eggs and 200 grams of grated carrots. Usually such requests remain unmet. Therefore, you need to carry all the provisions in your handbag. And, most likely, prepare diet food the day before.
Exciting number 1
13 days for the Japanese diet will cost about 2 times less than a business lunch or lunch at work. And even more so - the purchase of food for housing.
Pleasant number 2
In general, it is better not to start a strict diet if at least half of the food it makes does not please you. And because I eat enthusiastically in "normal life" and fish, boiled beef, carrots, and kefir, and cabbage, then to see it on my table, frankly, happy.
Many people ask questions about drinking coffee every morning - is it harmless? If you have heart problems or high blood pressure, coffee can have a detrimental effect. And before starting the Japanese diet, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
Various sensations
In the first two days of the diet, vision haunted me: as soon as I closed my eyes, thinly baked pancakes appeared in front of my gaze, spontaneously rolling into a tube. Then someone happily dipped it into strawberry jam and brought it to my face. There are no olfactory hallucinations. After chasing me for two days, the pancakes were left behind.
Indifference and calm to enjoy the cuisine, which continues to this day. This does not mean that I will refuse hard if I am offered to try something delicious. But the nervous breakdown from the fact that "there’s a lot of food in there" is no longer observed.
I did not shed so much - only 4 kilograms, but the weight did not increase. I don’t know who to thank for this: the Japanese dietitian or myself - for doing sports twice a week. The only detail: during the diet, you feel weaker, and by the end it becomes a problem to open an unopened bottle of mineral water. But strength returned.
